At Brazilian Ice, we are committed to preserving and caring for our environment. That is why Brazilian Ice is a proud supporter of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and its efforts to protect the Jaguar and its rainforest as well as the Polar Bear and its environment. In recognition of Brazil, you see a palm and the star of their flag in our logo, for our proud Canadian heritage, we have included the brave Polar Bear.
Each month, Brazilian Ice will honour one of our online clients with the gift of a symbolic adoption of one of these beautiful creatures. To enter without purchasing, simply email us at contactus@brazilianice.com and tell us how you support the environment. Include your name, your email and complete mailing address, and then ask for the occasional e-newsletter (This will include environmental news courtesy of the WWF, grilling and food service ideas and news of where you can purchase our products from our local vendors as well as past winner's names of the contest).

We are committed to helping the environment and have incorporated our environmental philosophies into the way we prepare our products. That’s why we use all-natural jute bags for product packaging. Then, we prepare the products for shipping with eco-friendly and biodegradable packing materials, and use just the right amount to ensure that the products arrive at your home safe and sound.
Since our soapstone products are relatively small in size, we are able to use stone that might otherwise be discarded, which helps us to act on our recycling principles throughout the production process. As much as possible, our input products are purchased locally, and we make a point of reducing, reusing, and recycling. As responsible corporate citizens, we encourage all of our valued clients to do the same.
